Professor Vladimir Igorevich Ignatjev, D.Sc. (Phil.), head of the sociology department in the Novosibirsk State Technical University, an expert in historical sociology, sociology of global processes and sociology of informatization.

V.I. Ignatjev is the author of books on sociology, the methodology and theory of the historical process, civilization analysis, including the monographs «World History as Integrity: Methodology Problems», «The Integrity Basis of the World Historical Process», «System and genetic dinamic of Society». Recently Professor V.I. Ignatjev has been involved in studying the specificity of a social system of the information civilization. He is also the author of papers on the transformation of the social interaction system and the phenomenon of virtual social reality.

Since 2001, he has been a managing editor of the periodical collection of research papers Social and Liberal Studies.

V.I. Ignatjev teaches General Sociology and Information Society Sociology courses. He is also responsible for organizing training in the major Sociology.

He is the author of the two-volume edition Information Society: Economics, Power, Culture. He is involved in education and science programs within cooperation with the Institute of East European and Balkan countries in the Bologna University (Italy) and the London School of Economics and Political Sciences.

 

Tatyana Valerjevna Vladimirova, PhD (Phil.), works as an associate professor at the sociology department in the Novosibirsk State Technical University. She is an expert in sociology of informatization.

 

T.V. Vladimirova is the author of papers on the analysis of transformation of the social interaction system.

T.V. Vladimirova teaches Sociology and Sociology of Communication courses.

 

Alyona Nikolaevna Stepanova, PhD (Phil.), is an assistant lecturer at the sociology department in the Novosibirsk State Technical University. She is an expert in sociology of informatization.

 

A.N. Stepanova is the author of papers on the analysis of the phenomenon of virtual social reality.

A.N. Stepanova teaches Sociology, Sociology of Information Society, Sociology of Family, Life Quality Sociology, and Business Planning of Social Projects courses.
